The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the relocation of its headquarters to a new permanent office in Abuja.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by its Director of Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the agency confirmed that the relocation will take effect from Friday, 5 September.
The new office is situated at House 12, Plot 103/104, Monrovia Street, Wuse 2, directly opposite Bon Hotel in the Federal Capital Territory.
“All official correspondence, visits, and enquiries should henceforth be directed to our new address,” the statement read.
NELFUND assured Nigerians that the move would not disrupt its operations.
“We wish to assure the public that this relocation will not interrupt our services in any way. NELFUND remains fully operational and committed to its mandate of providing affordable education loans and support to Nigerian students across the country,” the agency said.
It also emphasised that its communication channels remain unchanged. These include its website ([www.nelf.gov.ng](http://www.nelf.gov.ng)), email ([info@nelf.gov.ng](mailto:info@nelf.gov.ng)), and verified social media platforms: X (formerly Twitter) – @nelfund, Instagram – @nelfund, Facebook and LinkedIn – Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
Expressing appreciation to Nigerians, the statement added: *“We are grateful for your trust and continued support as we work to expand access to higher education financing nationwide.”*
Established in 2023 by the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu, NELFUND was created to provide interest-free loans to students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria. Beneficiaries are expected to commence repayment two years after completing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
