The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has acknowledged the successful disbursement of institutional loans to 250 students of the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, in Kano State, as part of efforts to expand access to tertiary education funding across the country.
The loan disbursement, which took place on November 17, 2025, provided financial support to eligible students to assist with tuition and other approved academic-related costs. The intervention is in line with NELFUND’s mandate to reduce financial barriers and ensure that more Nigerian students are able to pursue and complete their studies.
NELFUND commended the management of the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, for its collaboration and effective coordination during the disbursement process. The Fund reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with tertiary institutions nationwide to deliver transparent, efficient, and sustainable student loan support that promotes inclusive and equitable access to higher education.
