The African  Economic Scholars Program (AESP) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Cohort!

  • Are you a final-year student or recent graduate from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or South Africa?
  • Do you have a background in  Economics, Political  Science, or other Social Science disciplines, with a strong interest in policymaking and development?

If yes, this opportunity is for you.

The African Economic Scholars Program (AESP) is designed to equip young policy enthusiasts with practical, hands-on knowledge of policy design and implementation, while providing mentorship from seasoned economists and policy experts, as well as opportunities to connect with like-minded scholars across Africa.
