The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has activated the NIPED Portal for candidates seeking admission through the 2026 Direct Entry exercise.
The portal enables Direct Entry applicants to monitor the verification status of their Advanced Level (A’Level) qualifications, a key requirement for the processing of admissions into tertiary institutions.
The development is expected to enhance transparency in the admission process by allowing candidates to track the verification of their credentials in real time.
Prospective Direct Entry candidates are advised to log in to the NIPED portal regularly to check the status of their A’Level qualification verification and promptly address any issues that may arise during the process.
The activation of the portal forms part of JAMB’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the integrity and efficiency of the Direct Entry admission process by ensuring that only verified qualifications are used for admission.
