The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, has formally acknowledged the receipt of funds from the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) amounting to ₦6,972,000.00.
In an official letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, the university confirmed that the disbursement was made on Monday, 21st July 2025, to support ten (10) students under the NELFUND initiative.
Dr. Abdullahi expressed deep appreciation for what he described as a “timely intervention”, noting that the support would go a long way in easing the financial burdens of students and allowing them to focus on their academic pursuits.
“Your continued support underscores your commitment to fostering access to quality education and empowering the next generation of leaders in Nigeria,” the Registrar stated in the acknowledgement letter.
He assured NELFUND of the institution’s highest regards, highlighting that the intervention aligns with the Federal Government’s vision to expand access to education and reduce financial barriers for students.
The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has been working with higher institutions across the country to provide accessible financial support to students, enabling them to pursue their education without being hindered by economic challenges.
This latest disbursement further demonstrates the Federal Government’s commitment to investing in education and preparing future leaders for national development.
