ALTS Education recently celebrated 15 years of expert advisory, helping Nigerian families secure placements for their children in leading schools and universities across the UK, USA, Canada and beyond. The milestone was marked with a dinner in Victoria Island, Lagos, attended by parents of past students, ALTS alumni and representatives from Nigerian international schools and over 21 partner schools who were in Lagos for the annual ALTS Boarding School Fair.
A key highlight of the evening was the launch of the ALTS Scholarship Initiative, conceived by CEO and Founder, Mrs Anthonia Foluke Sawyerr. In recognition of the current economic pressures facing many families, Mrs Sawyerr approached partner schools to secure pledges totalling USD 1.3 million in school fee support for 46 student places, offering scholarships of up to 50% across the UK, USA and Canada.
So far, pledges include:
£621,022 towards UK school fees
$383,621 towards US school fees
$116,480 towards Canadian school fees
This initiative reflects both the strong relationships ALTS has built with schools over the years and the quality of Nigerian students who continue to excel abroad.
Guests at the dinner celebrated the announcement with enthusiasm, marking not only ALTS Education’s 15-year journey but also a renewed commitment to supporting Nigerian families with access to quality global education.
ALTS Education is a Nigerian education advisory firm and the winner of the 2025 StudyTravel Agency of the Year – Middle East & Africa award.
