The Federal Ministry of Education (FME) has launched applications for the TVET Industry Mapping Initiative 2025, designed to equip young Nigerians with practical, industry-ready skills.
The program provides selected candidates with a monthly stipend, mentorship, and hands-on vocational and technical education training.

Program Details
The Industry Mapping Initiative is aimed at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students, providing structured workplace experience across multiple trades.
The Federal Government will cover training fees, pay monthly stipends, and guide industries on mentorship strategies. The program will run alongside the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and the Student Field Work Experience Scheme (SFWES).
Training will cover 18 existing trade courses and will expand to 14 new emerging courses from 2026.
Sensitisation meetings are scheduled for Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Yola, Port Harcourt, and Enugu, with participation open to small, medium, and large-scale industries nationwide.
