Overview
The Heirs Oil and Gas University Scholarship, also known as the Heirs of Tomorrow University Scholarship, is a strategic educational support initiative aimed at empowering academically outstanding and underprivileged indigenes of the OML 17 host communities in Nigeria.
This initiative, driven by Heirs Energies and its Host Community Development Trust (HCDT), offers annual financial aid to support access to quality tertiary education.

Successful applicants will receive:
An annual scholarship award of ₦200,000, renewable till graduation (subject to academic performance).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Heirs of Tomorrow University Scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be a Nigerian citizen and an indigene of the OML 17 host communities.
2. Be currently enrolled in an accredited federal or state university in Nigeria.
3. Have a minimum of five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting (WAEC, SSCE, or NECO).
4. Be a full-time undergraduate student.
5. Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale (or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale) throughout the duration of the scholarship.
6. Not currently benefit from any other scholarship, bursary, or financial grant.
7. Present a valid identification letter from their host community.
