About the KAUST Internship (VSRP)
The KAUST Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) gives students the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in world-class laboratories under the mentorship of KAUST faculty members. Research areas span multiple disciplines within science and engineering.
The program is designed for highly motivated students with strong academic records who wish to explore innovative research topics and gain exposure to an international research environment.
Participants become part of KAUST’s vibrant and diverse academic community while contributing meaningful ideas to real-world research initiatives.
Eligibility Requirements (KAUST Internship 2026)
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be an undergraduate student (3rd year or above) or a master’s student
PhD candidates, current KAUST students, and KAUST alumni are not eligible
Minimum GPA 3.5/4.0 or 14/20 (ECTS B)
Strong English communication skills (written & spoken)
