Eligibility:
To be considered for the Notre Dame Scholarship, candidates must be applying to an undergraduate program at the University of Notre Dame. This scholarship is open to both U.S. citizens and international students. Applicants must meet the university’s English language proficiency requirements, with TOEFL, IELTS, DET, or PTE scores required for students whose first language is not English.
Application process:
Interested applicants must apply through either the Common Application or the Coalition Application. Additionally, candidates must complete the Notre Dame Writing Supplement, which is part of the university’s unique application process. Students have the option to submit ACT or SAT scores, though this is not mandatory. Non-native English speakers are required to submit standardized test scores (such as TOEFL or IELTS) to prove language proficiency. Applicants must also provide high school transcripts, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and pay a non-refundable $75 application fee.
