The University of Toronto has announced the opening of its prestigious Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarship for the 2026 academic year.
This fully funded undergraduate scholarship is designed to recognize international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, creativity, and leadership potential.
Covering four years of tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support, it is one of Canada’s most competitive scholarships, open exclusively to international students beginning their studies at U of T in September 2026.
To be eligible, candidates must be nominated by their high school—which can nominate only one student per year—and must be in their final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2025.
Key dates include October 10, 2025 (school nomination deadline), October 17, 2025 (U of T admission application deadline), and November 7, 2025 (Pearson Scholarship application deadline). Once nominated and having applied to U of T, candidates will receive a private link to complete their scholarship application.
