Daniella Okamgba, a 2023 Law graduate of Babcock University, has distinguished herself as one of the brightest stars at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, clinching five prestigious awards at the 2025 Call to Bar ceremony held in the Federal Capital Territory.
Okamgba, who completed her Bar Part II examinations in November 2024 with flying colours, was recognised for her exceptional academic performance with the following accolades:
Justice Olujide Shomolu Award for Best Student in Civil Litigation
Mr. D. D. Dodo OFR, SAN Award for Best Female Student in Civil Litigation

The 2025 Call to Bar ceremony made history, as a record-breaking 5,728 new lawyers were formally admitted to the Nigerian Bar — the highest number in the nation’s legal history. The event was jointly organised by the Nigerian Law School and the Body of Benchers.
Reacting to the achievement, the President/Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Professor Ademola S. Tayo, expressed deep pride and excitement.
