The Honourable Minister of Education is scheduled to appear live on Channels Television and TVC News on Monday, October 13, to discuss the recent announcement by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) of a two-week strike.
According to a statement from the ministry, the Minister will feature on Channels TV at 7:00 a.m. and TVC News at 12:00 noon (West African Time) to outline the Federal Government’s position on the industrial action and provide updates on measures being taken to address the union’s concerns.
The discussions will also focus on the government’s broader efforts to maintain stability in the education sector and ensure that Nigerian students remain in school despite ongoing challenges.
