The National Examinations Council (NECO) will release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External on Tuesday, 3 February 2026.
The announcement was made in an internal circular signed by NECO’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, which was obtained by our correspondent.
According to the circular, the results will be formally released by the Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, at 10:45 a.m. Staff members have been asked to assemble at the Conference Hall at 10:30 a.m. to witness the event.
The SSCE External is primarily taken by private candidates who seek certification outside the regular school system. NECO conducts the external examination to provide opportunities for candidates who missed the internal version or wish to improve their grades.
This release ensures that private candidates across the country can access their results and make timely decisions regarding further education or career progression.
