The Department of Education, in collaboration with KPMG, on Friday, February 27, 2026, hosted the 7th edition of its Annual Accounting Bowl at Government High School.
The event, themed “Future Ready Accounting,” brought together students from ten public and private schools to showcase their knowledge of accounting, mathematics, and financial principles.
Organisers said the competition serves as an important platform for preparing students for national examinations while encouraging academic excellence and critical thinking in the accounting field.
Beyond the contest, the initiative also aims to promote access to education by offering outstanding participants scholarship opportunities and exposing them to potential career pathways in accounting and finance.
