Federal Polytechnic Wannune, Benue State, has officially acknowledged the receipt of ₦19,777,500 disbursed by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support its students under the second batch of the 2024/2025 academic session.
The confirmation was contained in a letter signed by the institution’s Bursar, Eworo Gabriel Dave, FCNA, and addressed to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of NELFUND. According to the document, the funds were credited to the institution’s account on November 12, 2025, benefiting 295 students who successfully applied and were verified for the federal government-backed loan scheme.
The management expressed gratitude to NELFUND for its continued commitment to easing financial burdens for students across the country. The Polytechnic also commended the leadership of the loan fund for its role in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda Initiative, which aims to expand access to quality tertiary education through financial support.
“We wish to commend the efforts of NELFUND under your leadership in implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda Initiative, which has provided the much-needed financial relief to our students,” the letter read.
The institution assured NELFUND of its highest regards and reiterated its support for initiatives that promote educational accessibility and student welfare.
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund continues nationwide disbursements as part of the federal government’s drive to ensure equitable access to higher education through interest-free loans.
