The newly commissioned KAARC is expected to serve as a hub for advanced medical research, innovation, and collaboration between Nigerian scholars and international partners. It aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, which prioritizes education, science, and technology as key drivers of national development.
Governor Sanwo-Olu commended the initiative and reaffirmed Lagos State’s commitment to supporting projects that enhance academic excellence and research capacity in the state’s tertiary institutions.
The commissioning of the KAARC marks a significant milestone in the federal government’s broader push to position Nigeria as a regional leader in scientific research and technological innovation.
> “Research is the bridge between our challenges and the breakthroughs that will power Nigeria’s future. We must invest in knowledge, innovation, and the institutions that shape the next generation,” Dr. Alausa said.
