The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced that online applications for its 78 Regular Course will soon open, with the process scheduled to begin on Friday, November 28, 2025, and run until April 30, 2026.
The Academy made this known in a statement signed by the Registrar on Wednesday, noting that the opportunity is open to eligible male and female Nigerians who wish to pursue a career in the military.
Although the portal is not yet open, the NDA advised interested applicants to prepare ahead and take note of the correct registration steps. Candidates will be required to visit www.ndaapplications.net once the portal is active, purchase an access code, and complete their application.
Applicants are to generate an Order ID and Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the portal before paying the application fee of N7,000 via REMITA.
The Academy warned the public to avoid unauthorized payment channels, stressing that only RRR codes generated directly from the application portal would be accepted. It also urged applicants to carefully read all instructions once the portal becomes active.
The NDA further reminded the public of its earlier alert in August, where it dismissed a fake list of successful and reserve candidates circulating online. The Academy’s spokesperson, Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, had at the time advised Nigerians to rely solely on official NDA announcements.
