The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has acknowledged the disbursement of institutional loans to 193 students of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagu, Imo State.
According to the agency, the loan was disbursed on January 16, 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to support students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria through the national student loan scheme.
NELFUND said the intervention is aimed at easing financial pressure on students and ensuring uninterrupted access to higher education while promoting academic success and equal opportunities for learners.
