The Economic Community of West African States was established on 28 May 1975 as a regional intergovernmental organization comprising Benin, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo. To support the effective implementation of its sectoral programmes, ECOWAS and its specialized institutions including the Community Court of Justice, the ECOWAS Parliament, the West African Health Organization and GIABA are inviting applications from qualified nationals of member states across diverse professional fields. These include administration, finance, human resources, macroeconomic policy, trade, agriculture, health, political affairs, education, telecommunications, legal services, monitoring and evaluation, energy and internal audit.
Applicants must complete the official job application form, attach a curriculum vitae and a cover letter, and submit all required documents via the designated email addresses provided for each position. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Age requirements are as follows
35 years for general services positions
45 years for professional roles
50 years for director level positions
