The African Union has launched the 2026 Pan African University (PAU) Scholarship Program, offering fully funded opportunities for postgraduate studies across Africa. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living stipends, travel, and research-related expenses.
PAU is a premier continental university network aimed at producing highly skilled leaders, professionals, industrialists, innovators, and entrepreneurs committed to Africa’s development.
Successful candidates can study at one of the following PAU institutes:
PAUSTI (Kenya): Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology & Innovation
PAULESI (Nigeria): Institute for Life & Earth Sciences
PAUGHSS (Cameroon): Institute for Governance, Humanities & Social Sciences
PAUWES (Algeria): Institute of Water & Energy Sciences

Bachelor’s degree with at least second-class upper division in a relevant field

PhD Applicants:

2. Provide a valid username and email, then confirm registration via email.
3. Create a password and log in.
4. Complete the application form and upload all required documents.
5. Click Save, then Finish to submit.
6. You may log in later to complete the application if needed.
