Dhruv Dharamshi, a finance professional turned social impact enthusiast, has been awarded the prestigious Prodigy Finance General Merit Scholarship to pursue his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at London Business School, one of the world’s top-ranked institutions.
Coming from a background in financial engineering, Dhruv is no stranger to academic rigour and resilience. Despite the financial challenges of pursuing international education, he remained undeterred. In his words:
“Prodigy Finance came to the rescue not once, but twice. First, by offering me a no-collateral, no-cosigner loan at a time when most regional lenders wouldn’t—even with an existing personal loan. And now again, with a $5,000 scholarship that means a great deal as I return to student life. It eases immediate financial stress and allows me to focus more fully on making the most of my MBA.”
Dhruv has also contributed to student communities through GRE mentorship, helping other young Indians navigate the complex path to international study. His journey is not just about his own success—but about paying it forward.
He plans to leverage his MBA experience to develop financial tools that make education more accessible for others in emerging markets. His long-term vision is to build platforms that offer sustainable funding, support, and mentorship to students from underrepresented backgrounds.
