Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, popularly known as P.L.O. Lumumba, is a renowned Kenyan lawyer, academic, and anti-corruption advocate born on July 17, 1962. He has become a leading voice in Africa for good governance, Pan-Africanism, and ethical leadership.

Lumumba holds an LL.B and LL.M from the University of Nairobi, and a Ph.D. in the Law of the Sea from Ghent University, Belgium. He has lectured in law across several institutions, including the University of Nairobi and the United States International University Africa, and was the founding dean of the law school at Kabarak University.

He served as Director of Kenya’s Anti-Corruption Commission and later as Director of the Kenya School of Law, shaping legal education and professional standards in Kenya.
