10 Habits of Highly Effective People

10 Habits of Highly Effective People - EduTimes_Africa

1/ Plan
As a student you plan and schedule your time so as to bring out the best in your academics and overall education. That’s one of the reasons why you have a time table, course outline and school calendar which is scheduled per day and time. Plan your work ahead so that you can be effective.

2/ Execute
This is action oriented. When you are action oriented you tend to move while others are still talking, thinking and planning. You need to move to this phase in your life so you can get results and avoid procrastination. Become a doer.

A model that is transforming learning across the globe A model that is transforming learning across the globe A model that is transforming learning across the globe

3/ Principle
This is an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct. These are the underlying rules that guide you. These rules or beliefs affect your totality, how you behave, talk, do things, work etc. This can be likened to your core values. Embrace good and godly values.

4/ Management
Becoming an effective person goes a long way because you will learn to manage time, money, resources and people in order to get the work done. It’s important to manage your time to achieve more and deliver results.

5/ Early Riser
People that are achievers tend to have mastered the act of waking up early to start their days while others are still sleeping. They seem to have long hours of time to do their work.

6/ Vision
People in this category often understand the vision of the organization they work for and even the vision of their lives so they move with speed and dare to do great things.

7/ Competent
Competent means to have the necessary ability, knowledge, or skills to do something successfully. Highly Effective people are competent people using their abilities, knowledge and skills effectively to solve problems. They are equipped to proffer solutions within the required time.

8/ Optimistic
Highly effective people tend to be optimistic. An optimistic person thinks the best possible thing will happen, and hopes for it even when it might not look likely. Their diligence gives them the audacity to birth that possibility in themselves and makes it difficult for them to accept ‘No’ as an answer.

9/ Resourceful
Resourceful people have the ability to find and use different ways to achieve their goals. Oftentimes, they know the different routes that will lead to a location and can find their way out even if some of the routes are blocked, thereby enhancing their creativity. They also network and connect with people.

10/ Continuous Improvement
Whatever you do in life will always need improvement as the world which we occupy is itself dynamic. You will need to evolve so you can advance and that will be based on your continual improvement.
CANEI is Continuous And Never Ending Improvement.
