The “Let There Be Teachers Conference,” an initiative aimed at celebrating and elevating the teaching profession, is set to hold on September 20, 2025, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
Themed “Teachers Matter: Celebrating the Role of Teachers in Enhancing Quality Education,” the conference is powered by 1 Million Teachers and spearheaded by Oluwaseyi Anifowose, an education advocate and teacher.
Organizers expect over 60,000 participants, making the event a contender for the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering at an education conference.
“This historic milestone is more than just a record; it’s about shining a spotlight on the global importance of teachers and advocating for much-needed reforms in the profession,” Anifowose stated.
The event aims to provide a platform to discuss the challenges facing educators and promote innovative solutions to improve the quality of education globally.
