As a trailblazer in Architecture and Urban Development, with a distinguished career spanning decades, Agada has been instrumental to shaping Nigeria’s architectural landscape. Holding a B.Sc and M.Sc in Architecture from the University of Jos, Nigeria, and pursuing a Ph.D in Architecture training with Gulf American University, UAE (to be awarded by Girne American University, North Cyprus), he has played a pivotal role in national infrastructure projects, including the Presidential Complex and the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, Nigeria. His expertise in urban planning, public-private partnerships, and large-scale project execution has also earned him a reputation as a visionary architect and strategist.
As the founder and CEO of Cyrus Projects and Development Company, Dr. Agada has led multi-sectoral infrastructure projects, focusing on sustainable development, fiscal responsibility, and alternative project delivery systems. His groundbreaking Direct Development Approach (DDA) has been adopted by various government entities as a framework for integrated infrastructure planning.
Through excellence in architectural practice his expertise extends to world-class acoustic and auditorium design, having led projects such as the Salvation Ministries 120,000-Seater Auditorium – The world’s largest catwalk and auditorium design, as well as the Dunamis Glory Dome, a 100,000-Seater Auditorium Acoustic and HVAC design. Others are the Trinity Tower, Lagos 10,000-Seater Auditorium of the RCCG City of David project, Glover Memorial Auditorium, Lagos, a 5,000-Seater Lagos State Government project, among other.
It is also worthy of mention that his pioneering work in acoustic architecture, HVAC systems, and electromagnetic spectrum management has set new industry standards, earning him national and international recognition, in addition to the impact he has made in lives, communities, and more. Hence, his Honorary Doctorate in Acoustic Architecture is awarded by GAU’s recognized American awarding university.
The American University awarded him, following the Charter of Board Regents of the State of Montana, and the award is a testament to his lifelong dedication to excellence, innovation, and transformative impact across spheres.
