Osun State Polytechnic has announced plans for its Combined 8th Convocation Ceremony, covering graduands from the 2020/2021 to 2024/2025 academic sessions.
The Rector, Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, disclosed that the ceremony will culminate on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with a series of activities lined up to mark the occasion.
According to the schedule, pre-convocation events will begin on Friday, March 20, with a press conference by the Rector at the ETF Hall, followed by a Jumat service at the institution’s mosque.
Activities will continue on Tuesday, March 24, with a novelty football match between staff and members of the alumni association.
On Wednesday, March 25, a convocation lecture will be delivered by Yakib Ayodele Afolabi of the Department of Business Administration, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, while the Vice Chancellor of University of Ilesa, Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, will serve as chairman of the occasion. The day will conclude with the Rector’s cocktail party at the institution’s Staff Club.
The convocation grand finale is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, at the institution’s pavilion, where diplomas, certificates, and prizes will be awarded to graduands.
The institution directed all graduands to pay a ₦5,000 fee for the convocation pack at the Bursary Department before proceeding to the Academic Affairs Unit for collection, beginning from March 20, 2026.
The notice was signed by the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, who urged students, parents, and the general public to take note of the arrangements.
