About the Afrika Kommt Fellowship
Afrika Kommt is designed to equip young professionals with leadership and management skills, intercultural competence, and career acceleration opportunities. The program is structured into three phases, offering hands-on training, work placements, and personal development sessions.
Benefits of the Afrika Kommt Fellowship
Participants will receive:
✅ Visa support for a one-year stay in Germany
✅ Round-trip airfare from their home country to Germany and back
✅ Monthly stipend of €900 (for the first three months and the last month)
✅ Internship salary of approximately €1,500 per month
✅ One-time relocation fee of €1,000 for reintegration into their home country
✅ Fully covered accommodation in Germany (including internet, electricity, and water)
✅ Health insurance, accident, and liability insurance
✅ Two official certificates upon program completion
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
✔ Be a citizen of an African country
✔ Hold a university degree in a relevant field (postgraduate studies like an MBA are an advantage)
✔ Have 2-5 years of professional experience
✔ Possess excellent English proficiency (basic German knowledge is an advantage)
✔ Be under 35 years old
