About the Scholarship
The Eric Bleumink Fund provides talented students from developing countries with the opportunity to pursue postgraduate education at the University of Groningen.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Have received a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a Master’s program at the University of Groningen before February 2026.
2. Demonstrate outstanding academic performance, supported by strong recommendation letters.
3. Have excellent grades in their undergraduate (Bachelor’s) studies.
4. Meet the English language proficiency requirements of the chosen Master’s program.
5. Be in good health and able to participate in the entire program.
6. Hold citizenship of an eligible country (listed in Appendix 1).
7. Demonstrate financial need (must not have other means of funding their studies).

Application Process (Step-by-Step)
1. Apply for admission to a Master’s program at the University of Groningen before December 1, 2025.
2. The Admission Office, together with faculty admission boards, will review applicants and select nominees for the Eric Bleumink Fund.
3. Only candidates with a provisional or unconditional admission letter will be considered.
4. Nominations will be finalized by February 2026.
