Benefits:
The top three finalists will be awarded an internship or project grant, along with one year of priority access to NESG policy briefs, research papers, and macroeconomic outlooks. Additionally, they will receive a certification of performance. The top ten finalists will gain access Transforming Rural Education in Africa: Strategies for Sustainable Developmentto the NESG Learning Management System, and the top fifty finalists will have virtual access to the NESG’s 30th Anniversary events. These opportunities provide valuable exposure to economic policy insights and professional development resources.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to African undergraduates currently enrolled in tertiary institutions. Submissions must be original works written in English, with a strict limit of one entry per participant. Essays should not exceed 1,500 words and must be free from plagiarism and AI-generated content. Proper referencing using the APA style is required to ensure academic integrity.
