MTN Nigeria has opened applications for the 2024 mPulse Spelling Bee Competition, offering students from primary and secondary schools across the country a chance to win over ₦24 million in prizes.
The competition is designed to help students enhance their English language and spelling skills while competing for scholarships, cash rewards, and other exciting prizes. Both students and their schools will benefit from this prestigious event, which continues to support educational development in Nigeria.
Benefits:
The top prize includes a ₦5 million scholarship grant for the winning student, along with a laptop, smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag. The winner’s school will also receive an ICT lab equipped with 10 laptops and MTN Hynetflex internet services, while the student’s teacher will be awarded ₦500,000. The second and third prize winners will receive ₦2.5 million and ₦1.5 million scholarship grants, respectively, along with laptops, smartphones, and goody bags. Cash prizes of ₦500,000 and ₦200,000 will also be awarded to finalists between 4th to 20th place.
Eligibility:
To qualify for the competition, participants must be between the ages of 9 and 15 and enrolled in a primary or secondary school in Nigeria. Additionally, applicants must reside in Nigeria and register on the MTN mPulse website. Parents are not allowed to assist in the competition, and students are encouraged to take the practice quiz multiple times to improve their chances of advancing to the next stage.
Application process:
Interested candidates should visit the official MTN mPulse website to register and participate. After completing the registration, students must take the practice test as many times as possible to familiarize themselves with the format.
