Careers without Careers Education?
Finishing school, I honestly didn’t have much of an idea of who I was or what I wanted to do....
Ore is known by her creative and cheerful nature and is an advocate for young people living out their potential and living a life of purpose. She is passionate about education and employment and currently works with the South London Careers Hub to support and strengthen careers education in schools whilst also bridging the gap between education and the world of work. Ore has a background in Human Resources and business consulting where she worked across private, public and NGO sectors primarily within talent management and development. She holds a master’s in education and international development from the University of Sussex, is a
member of the Careers Development Institute and is a certified coach by the International
Coaching Federation. As someone who enjoys working with young people, she has served in various capacities; from being a girl child advocate with Mercy Corps in improving academic, vocational, and financial education for marginalised girls in secondary schools, to working as a career coach where she
currently supports young adults and refugees on their career journeys.
