Professor Muyiwa Falaiye is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters, the highest Academy for researchers in African Studies, Literature, Arts and Humanities. He is currently the Director of African Studies at the University of Lagos. He is also a former Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the same university. He is a foremost global authority in his area of expertise.
