The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has announced the reopening of its 2026 examination e-Registration and e-Payment platforms to allow centres and candidates complete pending processes.
In a statement issued on Saturday, January 11, 2026, MANEB said the platforms will be accessible on Sunday, January 12, 2026, from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight. The Board explained that the decision followed a surge in registration-related inquiries from examination centres and members of the public.
According to MANEB, the reopening will enable examination centres to register new candidates and correct errors in existing registrations. It will also give candidates, parents and guardians the opportunity to pay examination fees for newly registered candidates, as well as for those who failed to complete payment before the December 31, 2025 deadline.
MANEB stressed that all examination fees must be paid through approved channels, including Airtel Money, TNM Mpamba, National Bank of Malawi, First Capital Bank, Standard Bank, FDH Bank and NBS Bank.
The Board, however, warned that no further extension will be granted beyond the announced window, urging all examination centres and candidates to take full advantage of the opportunity.
The statement was signed by Prof. Dorothy Nampota, Executive Director of MANEB.
