What is Personality?
Psychologists define personality as a process of the acquisition of an increasingly accurate self-concept rather than a description of developmental stages and tasks. Rogers (1951) mainly focused on this concept. Your personality includes your patterns of thoughts, actions, and emotions. It’s also influenced by your temperament and experiences. An individual’s personality is a unique entity resulting from the interaction between a person and his environment. It can be understood in terms of a person’s behaviours, actions, postures, words, attitudes, opinions and lifestyle.
Personality is a personal traits that is unique, you should capitalize on this as no one in this world can be like you. As a matter of fact your DNA differs from that of your friend, because your parents are not the same, likewise your background.
Your personality is attributed to your power, character, trait, voice etc. You a rare specie, so you should make best use of your uniqueness.
There is no way two identical twins can have the same personality. They will be different in one traits or another, either in temperament, abilities, or character, emotional intelligence, self-awareness.
Let your personality be down to earth, live your real life and improve on the kind of the person you are becoming. Being down to earth in your personality doesn’t mean pleasing everyone all at the expense of yourself, without knowing how and when to say ‘No’ where necessary.
Everybody has their own unique personality, which can be developed and changes as you age. When you improve and develop your self you show resilience, self-awareness, interpersonal sensitivity, you are motivated to meet your goals and your self concept is awaken. Your individual characteristics make up a unique personality type. This is one of the reason why it is really difficult to change you or any person because your personality is like a property which may appreciate or depreciate depending on certain things like value, skills, experience, education, level of exposure etc. If you consistently improve and develop your property which is your personality will be able to upgrade your mind which is one of your core centre for development.
