The National Youth Service Corps has revealed Thursday, November 6, 2025, as the official date for the passing-out ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 corps members.
In a statement disclosed on Monday, signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the management plans a moderate event to mark the end of the service year for the batch— which began its orientation programme from October 23 to November 12, 2024.
The statement clarified that activities prior the ceremony would kickstart with a couple of programmes like job advisory and counselling sessions for corps members across various local government areas nationwide.
Furthermore, the process would also involve the signing and release of final clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors to the outgoing corps members.
“The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes all the Corps Members, passing-out including the Monitoring Officers on assignment a successful Winding-up and Passing-out Exercise,” the statement read.
The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation camp took place from October 23 to November 12, 2024, across all 37 camps in Nigeria.
During the three-week exercise, corps members took part in paramilitary drills, leadership and entrepreneurship training, and activities that helped them blend into their host communities.
After the orientation, they were posted to different Places of Primary Assignment to serve in areas like education, health, agriculture, and other key sectors, contributing to community growth nationwide.
