Important Note for Non-Indigenes (LASU Admission Guide)
If you’re a non-indigene and your aggregate is low, you need to be extra strategic with your course selection. Here’s a breakdown:
👇👇👇
For Medical Courses (e.g. Nursing, Medicine & Surgery, MLS):
– *Low aggregate*: Anything below 70
– *Safer aggregate*: 76–80+
– Especially for Nursing medicine and MLS, aim for 75–80 to stand a real chance as a non-indigene.
**For Mass Communication:
– Below 70 as a non-indigene is also considered low
– Competition is high, better to aim for 70–80+
For Other Competitive Courses:
– Any aggregate below 70 as a non-indigene is risky
– It’s better to go for less competitive courses
