Hon Olubunmi Tuni-Ojo for the innovation that he brought on board and like I said you have actually helped to fill in the gaps. We do have some foreign post graduate students, and last year we had problem with some of them coming in to start their prpogramme , because when it was time to process their stay and they asked them to pay 400 dollars , they felt it was on the high side. Now we can engage with you to solve some of these issues, “the Vice Chancellor said.
Oladiji gave the assurance that the visa information will be disseminated to benefit students and all those concerned in the university. “we also have students from West African countries that come here, now that you have spoken with us, we would communicate the coordinators of the students and more importantly we have the international strategy office that helps to coordinate our international activities.”
Professor Oladiji who commended the immigration officer’s excellent credentials as a woman noted that her wealth of experience will in no small measure bring innovations and improvements to the Ondo State Office.

In her words ‘ ,When I attended my first programmed in FUTA I was so much impressed that we have a lady of substance heading the university. Often men don’t give us that chance and for you getting that position I am so sure it’s on merit. I congratulate you . Keep the flag flying high and break all those boundaries that men couldn’t break and I am sure you would leave a record that by the time you end your tenure men will find it difficult to fit into that shoe.”
On the ongoing innovations on service delivery she said , ‘We decided to come today to enlighten the FUTA Community on the ongoing digital transformation in the Nigeria immigration service ,so that the students and staff and even their family members may benefit from such. Our passport process has been automated that at the comfort of your home you can fill in the form, do all the necessary things.
