The Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) has honoured the Bauchi State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Mohammed Lawal Rimin Zayam, with its Education Champion Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to improving education across the state.
The award was presented by CSACEFA Chairman, Nicholas Afeso Oshoja, who led a delegation to the Ministry of Education as part of the coalition’s 25th anniversary celebration.
During the visit, discussions focused on key education priorities, including the implementation of the Safe School Policy and the Gender Policy in Education.
Dr. Rimin Zayam reaffirmed the Bauchi State Government’s commitment to creating safer, more inclusive, and equitable learning environments for all children. He also pledged continued collaboration with civil society partners to strengthen education reforms and ensure sustainable progress in access and quality.
Speaking after the presentation, Oshoja commended the Commissioner’s leadership, describing the engagement as “fruitful and inspiring.”
