The Lagos Book & Art Festival (LABAF) has announced that Senator Babafemi Ojudu, celebrated journalist, author, and public intellectual, will be a special guest at the 2025 edition of the festival, set to take place on November 14, 2025. The event, known for bringing together Nigeria’s leading thinkers and creatives, promises another year of engaging discourse and literary celebration.
Senator Ojudu will appear alongside veteran journalist, former lawmaker, and commissioner Abdul Oroh in a stimulating conversation moderated by acclaimed writer Kunle Ajibade. The trio will discuss their latest books, share reflections on decades of journalism and public service, and examine the evolving ideas shaping Nigeria’s democratic and intellectual landscape.
Organizers describe the session as one of the festival’s anticipated highlights—an opportunity for deep insight, wit, and spirited dialogue. Lovers of literature, governance, and public thought are invited to attend what promises to be a memorable encounter at LABAF 2025 — where books meet ideas, and ideas inspire change.
