The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has opened its upgraded school fees payment portal for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a circular issued on Sunday, Registrar Mr. Ademola Bobola stated that the university has not increased school charges for any student category. The portal is now accessible to all 100-level students and 200-level Direct Entry students.
Bobola reminded students to use only the official UNIBEN payment link, warning against fraudulent platforms.
He reiterated:
> “The University has consistently maintained the school charges adopted in previous sessions. No increase has been made for the 2025/2026 academic session.”
The Registrar also provided step-by-step payment instructions through portal.uniben.edu and advised students and parents to contact the school’s ICT Unit for inquiries.
He encouraged new students to complete payments early to ensure a smooth onboarding process for the new academic year.
