Company Description
We’re Hiring: Learning & Development Specialist (Head of Unit)
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate all Academy training programmes, including budget preparation, venue sourcing, logistics planning, client liaison, and facilitator identification and management.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning interventions, including open enrolment programmes, bespoke corporate training, strategy sessions, and executive retreats.
• Drive the marketing and commercialisation of Academy programmes to existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals for bespoke training solutions, strategy sessions, and retreats.
• Oversee training needs analysis, curriculum development, and programme evaluation to ensure learning effectiveness and ROI.
• Manage relationships with facilitators, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Provide thought leadership on Learning & Development initiatives, including leadership development, succession planning, and talent development.
• Supervise and develop the Academy team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Minimum of 6–8 years’ relevant experience in Learning & Development, with at least 4 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong competence in training design, facilitation, and learning programme management.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, proposal writing, and business development for training solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational, project management, and commercial acumen.
• Professional HR or L&D certification (CIPM, SHRM, ATD, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
