Eligibility Requirements
MSc Requirements
Applicants must:
Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) OR Second Class Lower (2:2) with relevant industry experience
Have completed NYSC
Be computer literate
Have five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
Submit a Statement of Purpose (maximum 500 words) explaining:
Motivation for the proposed study
Relevance to the oil and gas industry
Expected impact on national development
Have a National Identity Number (NIN) (NIMC verification required)
PhD Requirements
Applicants must:
Have completed NYSC
Be computer literate
Possess five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics
Hold a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) in their first degree and a good postgraduate degree
Submit a research proposal (maximum 5 pages) relevant to the oil and gas industry, covering:
Topic
Introduction
Objectives
Methodology
Data collection method
Lecturers must provide a letter from their Vice-Chancellor confirming they are not receiving another scholarship
Have a valid NIN (NIMC verification required)
