The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the call-up letters for 2026 Batch A Stream 1 prospective corps members.
The scheme announced the development on Monday via its official X handle, confirming that deployed corps members can now access and print their call-up letters online.
NYSC disclosed that some prospective corps members posted to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will undergo their orientation programmes in neighbouring states due to limited camp capacity.
“Some prospective corps members deployed to Lagos will have their orientation course in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun camps, while some deployed to FCT will be in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa camps,” the scheme stated.
The development aligns with earlier explanations by the NYSC that only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated during each orientation exercise.
The scheme also advised corps members against travelling at night to orientation camps and urged them to complete all required documentation before arrival.
In a separate notice, the NYSC warned that prospective corps members with discrepancies between their call-up letters and statements of results would not be registered at orientation camps, advising affected individuals to resolve such issues with their institutions’ Student Affairs Officers.
The NYSC further issued guidelines for married female prospective corps members, directing those not posted to their husbands’ states of domicile to report to the nearest orientation camp for registration.
The 2026 Batch A orientation exercise is scheduled to commence nationwide on January 21, with the scheme warning that indiscipline will not be tolerated.
