About the MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship

The MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship Scheme aims to promote academic excellence by offering financial support to outstanding students who are dependents of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc employees and shareholders.

The scholarship covers both secondary and tertiary education, helping beneficiaries focus fully on their studies without financial burden.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship 2025/2026, applicants must meet the following general conditions:

Must be a child of a confirmed employee or shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc

Must be enrolled in a government-owned or accredited private institution

Must demonstrate academic excellence, with a minimum of five (5) distinctions

Must meet all additional conditions stated in the official scholarship guidelines

Secondary School Applicants (JSCE / SS 1–3)

Applicants must:

Have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE)

Possess at least five (5) distinctions (A grades) in one sitting, including Mathematics and English Language

Have JSCE results available at the time of application

Be not more than 18 years old

Be a Nigerian citizen

Be a child of a confirmed employee or individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc

Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship

Undergraduate Applicants

Applicants must:

Have completed SSCE, NECO, or GCE in one sitting

Obtain at least five (5) distinctions (A grades) in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language

Have secured admission into an approved Nigerian tertiary institution
(University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic)

Be not more than 25 years old at the time of application

Benefits of the MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship

The scholarship provides:

Full tuition coverage

Support for study and living expenses

Funding for the entire duration of the programme

Required Documents

Applicants must complete the online application and submit scanned copies of the following documents:

Personal details (Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin)

Passport photograph

Mobile number and email address

Name and address of school

Class/level

Name and contact details of Principal or Head of Department

Subjects and grades

School fees document (signed by the school)

Name of sponsor

Additional Documents (Upload Required):

JSCE result (for secondary school applicants)

SSCE/NECO/GCE result (for undergraduate applicants)

Admission letter

Birth certificate or sworn affidavit
(Affidavit date must not be earlier than 60 days before December 3, 2025)

Parent/guardian means of identification
