The Division of Agricultural Colleges, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State, has received a disbursement of ₦9,428,500.00 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the announcement, the funds were credited on February 9, 2026, and are intended to cover tuition and other statutory charges for 272 students enrolled in the division.
The financial support is expected to ease the burden on beneficiaries by ensuring they can continue their academic programmes without disruption due to financial constraints.
NELFUND was established to provide financial assistance to eligible Nigerian students pursuing higher education, particularly by covering essential academic costs such as tuition and institutional charges.
With the latest disbursement, hundreds of students at the Division of Agricultural Colleges, ABU Zaria, will be able to sustain their studies for the current academic session without interruption.
