The Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0 is set to convene Africa’s leading voices in technology, entrepreneurship, policy, and the creative economy from June 2 to 5, 2026, in Lagos.
Themed “Connected Future: Synergy for Impact,” the four-day summit will take place at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, positioning itself as a major platform for innovation, collaboration, and deal-making across the continent.
Organised by Omniverse Africa, the summit builds on previous editions that have attracted over 30,000 participants from more than 20 countries, featuring over 180 speakers and 80 partners spanning government, private sector, academia, and development institutions.
The platform has also facilitated strategic partnerships, investment engagements, and over 3,000 job matches through its Career Centre.
Described as more than just a conference, the summit serves as a continental hub driving collaboration, capital flow, and innovation at scale by bringing together policymakers, investors, founders, academics, and creative industry leaders.
About the Summit
The 3.0 edition reflects Omniverse Africa’s commitment to advancing digital transformation, innovation, and investment across Africa. With its theme, the summit focuses on building partnerships, strengthening talent pipelines, and developing infrastructure to support the continent’s growing digital and creative economy.
The initiative is backed by a wide network of partners, including the European Union, German Cooperation (GIZ), IHS Towers, MTN Group, governments of Denmark, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, and Finland, the Innovation Support Network of Nigeria, the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, and several Nigerian government institutions including the National Information Technology Development Agency and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria. Others include Fidelity Bank Plc and the United Nations Development Programme.

The event will bring together a diverse, high-level audience, including government officials, investors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, academics, students, creatives, and global development partners.
Voices from the Summit
Charles Emembolu, Co-Convener of Omniverse Africa, described the platform as one that brings together key actors shaping Africa’s digital economy, noting that the 3.0 edition will further translate ideas into partnerships, investments, and real opportunities.
Feyisayo Alayande of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund highlighted Lagos’ role as a hub for innovation and talent, adding that the summit aligns with efforts to create jobs and empower young people across the continent.
Inga Stefanowicz of the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS emphasised the importance of collaboration, stating that platforms like Omniverse help connect talent, research, and investment to drive sustainable growth globally.
