The Nasarawa State University has received a significant financial boost following the disbursement of ₦84,968,722 by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The funds, released on 20 February 2026, will benefit a total of 1,440 students, covering tuition and other statutory charges.
The intervention is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and ensuring uninterrupted access to higher education. Beneficiaries are expected to continue their academic programmes without the risk of withdrawal due to inability to pay fees.
The disbursement underscores ongoing efforts by NELFUND to expand access to tertiary education and support students across Nigeria through its loan scheme.
