The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed a total of ₦7,235,000 to support 71 students of the Nigerian Army College of Education in Kwara State for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to details of the disbursement, the payment—made on April 13, 2026—covers statutory charges and other associated fees for the beneficiaries, ensuring uninterrupted academic activities.
The intervention is part of NELFUND’s broader mandate to ease the financial burden on Nigerian students by providing timely access to education funding. With this latest disbursement, all 71 student applicants at the institution have received support, allowing them to continue their studies without financial constraints.
NELFUND officials noted that the initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding access to quality education and reducing dropout rates caused by economic hardship.
The funding is expected to significantly enhance students’ academic stability, reinforcing ongoing efforts to promote inclusivity and sustainability within Nigeria’s higher education system.
