The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria Abuja Branch has nominated the Director of Human Resources at the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as its Personality of the Month in the honorary category, in recognition of the official’s outstanding contributions to the human resources profession.
The nomination was conveyed in an official letter signed by the Chairman of the CIPM Abuja Branch, Aina Segun Aina, ACIPM, who described the recognition as one reserved for distinguished professionals whose leadership, achievements and lasting impact continue to inspire excellence within the HR profession.
According to the letter, the honorary recognition celebrates exceptional professionals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and made significant contributions to people management, organisational development and society.
“It is with great pleasure and deep respect that we formally notify you of your nomination as the CIPM Abuja Branch Personality of the Month (Honorary Category),” the letter stated.
The institute noted that the recipient’s remarkable professional journey and influence made them a deserving honouree.
Upon acceptance of the recognition, the branch said it would feature the recipient’s profile across its platforms, highlighting their professional achievements, insights and contributions to the human resources profession.
The recipient has also been requested to submit a high-resolution photograph, a brief professional profile and responses to selected interview questions to support the feature.
The CIPM Abuja Branch stressed that the recognition is entirely honorary and forms part of its commitment to celebrating excellence while promoting professional development and impactful initiatives within the HR community.
The institute also expressed appreciation for the goodwill support of distinguished members and honourees who share its vision of advancing the value of human resource management in Nigeria.
Established in 1968 as the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria is the country’s foremost regulatory body for the practice of human resource management. It became the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria in 1973 before attaining chartered status under the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, with the mandate to regulate, promote and develop the HR profession to the highest standards of excellence.
